Characteristics:
The Hartz Ultra Guard dog collar kills and repels both fleas and ticks for 5 months, stopping the cycle
life of fleas, thus preventing future reinfestations. Waterproof. Do not use on puppies under
6 weeks old.
Read the entire label before each use.
Use only on dogs.
Precautionary advice:
Risks for humans and domestic animals.
Caution:
Harmful if swallowed or absorbed through the skin. Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes, skin or
clothes. Wash well with soap and water after handling.
First aid:
If swallowed: Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice. Do not induce
vomit unless directed to do so by the Poison Control Center or a doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to a person
unconscious.
Contact with skin or clothing: Remove contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water
for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.
Eye Contact: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20
minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue
rinsing the eyes. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.
Have the product container or label with you when you call a poison control center or doctor, or
try to get treatment.
Note to doctors and veterinarians:
This product contains an organic phosphate and may cause cholinesterase inhibition. Cholinergic symptoms can
include salivation, miosis, incoordination, muscle twitching and/or weakness, vomiting and diarrhea. The
Atropine is an antidote. 2-PAM may be effective as an adjunct to atropine.
Storage and disposal:
Storage: Store at room temperature.
Disposal: Do not use the empty bag. Place it in the trash or hand it over for recycling if available.
