Characteristics:
Hartz® UltraGuard Plus TM Flea and Tick Collar for Cats and Kittens Kills and Repels Both Fleas and Tick for 7
months, thus stopping the life cycle of fleas and preventing reinfestation. Waterproof. For use in kittens 12 weeks
old and older.
Read the entire label before each use. Use only on cats.
Precautionary advice:
Risks for humans and domestic animals.
Caution:
Harmful if swallowed or absorbed through the skin. Causes moderate eye irritation.
Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing. Wash well with soap and water after handling.
First aid:
It contains an organophosphate that inhibits cholinesterase.
If swallowed: Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice. Let the person drink a glass of
water if you can swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless directed to do so by a Poison Control Center or doctor. Don't give him anything for the
mouth to an unconscious person.
Contact with skin or clothing: Remove contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20
minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.
Eye Contact: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove the lenses from
contact, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eyes. Call a poison control center
or a doctor for treatment advice.
Have the product container or label with you when you call a poison control center or doctor, or try to obtain
treatment.
Note to doctors and veterinarians:
This product contains an organic phosphate and may cause cholinesterase inhibition. Cholinergic symptoms may include
salivation, miosis, lack of coordination, muscle twitching and/or weakness, vomiting and diarrhea. Atropine is an antidote. 2-
PAM may be effective as an adjunct to atropine.
Storage and disposal:
Storage: Store at room temperature.
Disposal: Do not use the empty bag. Place it in the trash or hand it over for recycling if available.
