Recommendations:
The heater should be placed in an area of the fish tank with water circulation. If the water movement is insufficient, the
thermostat will not operate accurately and the aquarium temperature will not be uniform.
Choose the correct power for the size of your fish tank. Generally one watt of power for each liter of aquarium water
should be enough.
Precautions:
Do not connect the heater while it is out of water. After installing it in the aquarium, wait at least 5 minutes
before connecting to power to allow the thermostat to equilibrate to the water temperature.
The water level must be maintained above the minimum level line marked on the heater. To avoid a breakup
thermal shock, unplug the heater at least 10 minutes before removing it from the water.
The cable of this device cannot be replaced or repaired. If the cable becomes damaged, the heater must be
replaced.
Due to the possibility of electric shock, this heater, or any electrical equipment that comes into contact with it
water, must be disconnected before servicing the aquarium.
This electric heater is designed to operate in indoor aquariums. Do not use outdoors or in installations
different from those mentioned.
