Calcium Propionate, Sorbic Acid and Mixed Tocopherols (as preservatives). INSTRUCTIONS: Bring the water to a boil on the stove, in the microwave or in the kettle. Pour boiling water into a container and immediately add the powder (1 part powder to 2-3 parts water). Let cool or pour immediately into a mold. The gel will solidify at room temperature. Cut into long pieces or strips for feeding. Once made, the gel should be treated as fresh food and can be sealed and stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks, or in the freezer for up to six months.
