Carotenoid Gel Premix
Our Carotenoid Gel Supplement for occasional direct feeding or to add to other Repashy Gel formulas and improve the fish diet (up to 10% of the feed).
INFORMATION: Contains a "broad spectrum" of carotenoids from whole ingredients (no synthetics), including, but not limited to: Astaxanthin, Capsanthin, Capsorubin, Apsorubin, Beta-Carotene, Alpha Carotene, Beta Cryptoxanthin, Zeaxanthin, Neoaxanthin, Cucurbitaxanthin, Violaxanthin , Lutein, Echineone, Canthaxanthin and Lycopene. INGREDIENTS: Krill Meal, Seaweed Meal, Carob Gum, Pfaffia Rhodozyma Yeast, Paprika, Calendula Flower, Spirulina, Dried Watermelon, Rosehip, Hibiscus Flower, Turmeric, Lecithin, Citric Acid, Calcium Propionate and Potassium Sorbate ( as preservatives), Magnesium Amino Acid Chelate, Zinc Methionine Hydroxanalog Chelate, Manganese Methionine Hydroxanalog Chelate, Copper Methionine Hydroxanalog Chelate. Vitamins: (Vitamin A Supplement, Vitamin D Supplement, Calcium L-Ascorbic-2-Monophosphate, Vitamin E Supplement, Niacin, Beta Carotene, Calcium d Pantothenate, Riboflavin, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Thiamine Mononitrate, Acid Folic, Biotin, Vitamin B-12 Supplement, Menadione Sodium Bisulfite Complex).
GUARANTEED ANALYSIS: Crude Protein min. 30%, Crude Fat min. 15%, Crude Fiber max. 8%, Humidity max. 8%, Ash max. 9%.
INSTRUCTIONS: Bring water to a boil on the stove, in the microwave or in the kettle. Pour boiling water into a bowl and immediately stir in powder (1 part powder to 2-3 parts water by volume). Let cool or pour immediately into a mold. The gel solidifies at room temperature. Cut into pieces or make into strips for slow release. Once made, the gel should be treated as fresh food and can be sealed and stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks, or in the freezer for up to six months.
Tips and Techniques to help you make the perfect gel food!
JERKY: Prepare the gel as above, pour into a deep bowl and then cut into ¼-inch slices of desired size. Dry completely in the oven or dehydrator at 150°F (65°C). (8-12 hours typical).
